Delete your Mechanics4U account and data
You can have your account and everything attached to it removed. There are two ways.
1. From the app
Sign in, open the profile menu, choose Settings, then Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. The account is removed straight away.
2. Ask us
Message WhatsApp 0332 5222445 from the number on the account, or email us, with the words "delete my account" and the name or phone number you registered with. We remove it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your name, phone number, email address, city and password.
- Your Google or Facebook connection, if you used one to sign in.
- Your CNIC photos and intro video, if you registered as a kaarigar.
- Your jobs, offers, messages, reviews and referral wallet.
What we may keep
Anonymous visit counts that cannot be linked back to you, and any record we are required to keep to settle a payment dispute or to comply with Pakistani law. Nothing in that record identifies you publicly.
Signed in with Facebook?
You can also remove Mechanics4U from Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Mechanics4U → Remove. That disconnects Facebook from your account. To delete the account itself, use one of the two steps above.
