What Mechanics4U is
Mechanics4U is a Pakistani marketplace for repairs of every kind. Not only cars. You tell us what is broken, and registered kaarigars in your own city send you their price. You pick the one you want. It is free to use.
People write the name a few different ways - Mechanics4U, Mechanic4U, Mechanics 4 U, or "mechanics for you". They all mean this site, mechanics4u.com, run from Karachi for the whole of Pakistan.
The trades we cover
Car mechanic, bike mechanic, AC repair and service, electrician, plumber, mobile repair, laptop and PC, washing machine, fridge, solar and inverter, painter, carpenter, home renovation, cleaning and pest control, gaming console repair, and around forty specialist trades such as welder, locksmith, marble work, water tank cleaning and motor winding. A kaarigar can also list a service in their own words if it is not in our list.
How it works
- Post the job, free. Write it in English, Roman Urdu or Urdu. A photo helps. No account needed to start.
- Kaarigars send their price. They quote for your actual job, not a fixed tariff we invented.
- You choose. Only then do you and that one kaarigar exchange numbers.
Why we check identity
Anyone joining as a kaarigar gives their name, mobile number, city and both sides of their CNIC. Our team looks at the card before the account goes live. The badge on a profile means a person on our team compared that card with the account. It never appears automatically. The CNIC image itself is never public.
The 48-hour cover
If the same fault comes back within 48 hours of a finished job, the same kaarigar returns and fixes it without charging labour again. Parts are separate. It is a simple promise, and it is the reason we bother checking who people are.
Prices
We do not set prices and we do not take a cut from the customer. The kaarigar quotes, you agree it before anyone travels, and you pay them directly. Mechanics4U is free for customers. Kaarigar registration is free for the first hundred who join.
Where we work
Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Sialkot are live. Beyond those we cover 181 cities and districts and thousands of localities, and a job posted anywhere reaches kaarigars nearby.
Three languages
The whole site works in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu. Write "gari start nahi ho rahi" and it works exactly as well as the English.
Who runs it
Mechanics4U is built and run from Karachi, Pakistan. Talk to a person on WhatsApp at 0332 5222445 - that number reaches the team, not a bot.
Not to be confused with
There are other Pakistani businesses with similar names, and this domain previously belonged to an unrelated repair service in India. Mechanics4U at mechanics4u.com is an all-trades marketplace operating across Pakistan and has no connection to either.
