Who this is for
You have finished school, or left it, and you want work that does not depend on a degree. Or you already work in a shop and want to learn the trade properly. Or you are a parent looking for a place where your son or daughter can learn something real. Kaam Seekhen connects you with a kaarigar who is working today and is willing to teach.
Degree nahi, hunar chahiye. Yahan se shuru karein.
Trades you can learn
How it works
Post what you want to learn
Open Learn in the app. Write the trade, your city, and how many hours a week you can give. "AC ka kaam seekhna hai, shaam ko" is enough.
Kaam, sheher aur waqt likhein.
Ustaads and institutes reply
Working kaarigars and partner institutes in your city send their fee, days and hours. Look at their profile, work photos and reviews before you decide.
Ustaad fee, din aur waqt bhejte hain.
Choose and start
Accept one. You get their number, they get yours. Agree where and when, then turn up. Most learning happens in the workshop, on real jobs.
Ek chunein, number milein, kaam shuru.
What it costs
Each ustaad sets their own fee and you see it before you agree. Some charge monthly, some teach for free in exchange for help around the workshop, institutes charge per course. You pay the ustaad or institute directly. Mechanics4U is a marketplace: we take nothing from the student today, and we do not set the fee.
What to expect
- Hands on, from day one. You will hold the tools, not a notebook. Expect to start with cleaning, fetching and watching, then small jobs, then real ones.
- At the ustaad's workshop or on site. Say how far you can travel when you post.
- A fixed schedule you agree together. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you both set. Keep it; ustaads drop learners who do not turn up.
- Safety first. Electrical, gas and vehicle work can hurt you. A good ustaad shows you how to stay safe before anything else. If yours does not, tell us.
- Your own profile at the end. When your ustaad says you are ready, register as a kaarigar and start taking your own jobs. Your ustaad can refer you and you both get lead credits.
Why the ustaads are safe to learn from
Every ustaad teaching through Mechanics4U is a registered kaarigar. That means their name, number, city and both sides of their CNIC are on file, and a person on our team compared the card with the account before the profile went live. Training institutes that partner with us are checked separately. If anything about a lesson feels wrong, message 0313 2813999 and a person will look into it.
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to learn?
Each ustaad or institute sets their own fee and tells you before you agree. Some take a monthly fee, some teach free in return for help in the workshop. You pay the ustaad directly. Mechanics4U takes nothing from the student today.
Do I need any qualification?
No. Most trades are learned by doing. Being reliable, turning up on time and being willing to start with the small jobs matters more than any certificate.
How old do I have to be?
Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian to register and agree with the ustaad. Workshops can be dangerous places and we want an adult on both sides.
How long does it take?
It depends on the trade and on you. Mobile repair basics can take a few months. Becoming a car mechanic or an AC technician who can work alone usually takes a year or two of real work. The ustaad will tell you what to expect.
Is the ustaad checked?
Every ustaad who teaches through Mechanics4U is a registered kaarigar with a CNIC on file that our team has looked at, front and back. Institutes are checked separately by a visit or a call before they get the partner mark.
Can girls learn too?
Yes. Tailoring, beautician work, mobile and laptop repair, computer and solar work all have women ustaads on the platform, and more are joining. Say what you need when you post and we will help you find the right teacher.
