Who qualifies
- Any trade. Mechanic, electrician, plumber, AC technician, mobile and laptop repair, painter, carpenter, welder, mason, solar, tailor, and around forty more. If your trade is not in our list, write it in.
- Any city. Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Sialkot and every other city, town and tehsil in Pakistan.
- A CNIC, front and back. Our team checks it by looking at both photos and matching them with your account. That is the whole check. It is done by a person, not by software.
- You do the work yourself or run a small workshop. Shops and companies with many workers are welcome too, but each working kaarigar should have their own account.
Why we are doing this
Mechanics4U is a marketplace. Customers post a job free, kaarigars send their price, the customer chooses and pays the kaarigar directly. We do not set your price and we do not take a cut from the customer. The site only works if good kaarigars are on it first, so the first 100 get in free and keep a badge that says they were here from the start.

After the first 100
Once 100 kaarigars have been approved, registration becomes PKR 500 one time and the Founding Kaarigar badge closes. Everything else stays the same: responding to jobs is still free today, and we will announce any paid plan on the Verified Pro page before a single rupee is charged.
Questions people ask
Kya registration sach mein free hai?
Yes. The first 100 kaarigars who register and pass the CNIC check pay nothing, now or later. After the first 100, registration is PKR 500 one time. If you are reading this, the offer is still open.
Does the badge ever expire?
No. The Founding Kaarigar badge stays on your profile for as long as the profile exists. It is not tied to a plan or a renewal.
Which trades qualify?
Every trade we list and any trade you write in yourself: mechanic, electrician, plumber, AC technician, mobile repair, painter, carpenter, welder, mason, solar installer, tailor, anything you actually do for a living.
I am not in Karachi. Can I join?
Yes. Any city or town in Pakistan. Jobs posted near you reach you.
What do you do with my CNIC?
A person on our team looks at the front and back photos and compares them with the name and phone on the account. The images are never shown publicly and are never sold. Read the privacy policy for the full rules.
Do I pay anything when I get a job?
No. Today a kaarigar pays nothing to respond to jobs. The customer pays you directly and Mechanics4U takes no cut from the customer. When paid plans come, Founding Kaarigars still get their first 5 job responses free, and 3 months of Verified Pro free.
What is the storefront page?
A public page at mechanics4u.com with your name, trades, city, work photos, video and reviews. Customers find it on Google and can post a job straight to you from it.
