Three languages
Every part of Mechanics4U works in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu. You can post a job in any of the three. "Gari start nahi ho rahi" works exactly as well as "car will not start". Kaarigars can write their profile and their quotes in the language they are comfortable in. Urdu pages read right to left and use an Urdu typeface that loads only when you choose Urdu, so the site stays fast for everyone else.
How to switch
Use the language control at the top of the app. Your choice is remembered in your browser. See Cookies. The public guide and city pages are in English with Roman Urdu where it helps; the app itself switches fully.
Talking to a person
Our support team answers in English, Urdu and Roman Urdu on WhatsApp 0313 2813999 and at support@mechanics4u.com. A voice note on WhatsApp is fine if typing is hard for you.
Accessibility
We want the site to work for people who use a screen reader, who zoom the page, who cannot use a mouse, or who see colour differently. What we do:
- Text can be zoomed in the browser without breaking the page.
- Buttons and links have names that a screen reader can announce.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- Colours are chosen so text stands out from its background.
- The site works on a small, old phone over a slow connection.
We are not perfect. Some pages were written faster than others. When you tell us about a problem, we treat it as a bug and fix it.
How to report a problem
Email support@mechanics4u.com or message WhatsApp. Tell us the page, your phone or computer, and what happened. A screenshot helps. We reply within 24 hours on working days and we tell you when the fix is live.
Other languages
Kaarigars can list the languages they speak, including Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, Saraiki and Hindko, so a customer can choose someone they can talk to. The site interface itself is in the three languages above.
