Bike tuning and service cost for CD70 and CG125 (2026): what it includes and what it costs

• Spark plug cleaned, gapped or replaced

Tuning: PKR 300 - 800, about 30 minutes. Oil change labour: PKR 100 - 300, about 15 minutes, oil not included. Carburettor service, a proper strip and clean: PKR 500 - 1,500, about an hour. Chain sprocket kit fitting: PKR 500 - 1,200, about an hour, kit not included. Clutch plates: PKR 800 - 2,000 labour, 1 to 2 hours. The "bike giving low average" complaint, usually tuning, carburettor and air filter together, lands at PKR 300 - 1,000 and takes about 30 minutes. Engine overhaul on a CD70 or CG125 is the big job: PKR 4,000 - 10,000 labour over 1 to 2 days, parts on top.

Oil on the kilometres your manual gives, more often in dust and heat. A tuning roughly every month or two of daily riding, and always when the average drops, the bike hunts at idle or starting takes more than two kicks. A carburettor strip once or twice a year is usually enough unless the fuel has been bad.

The work is the same; the 125 has more parts to set and slightly higher part prices, and its clutch and chain wear faster if it is loaded. Prices at the top of each range are more likely on a 125 or a heavily used bike. Genuine, Chinese or local parts make a bigger difference to the bill than the labour does; ask which the mechanic is fitting.
