• Cabin filter or condenser clogged with dust, so the system cannot shed heat in traffic
• Radiator and condenser fan not running at idle: cools while moving, warm when stopped
• Low gas from a slow leak at an O-ring, a hose or the condenser
• Compressor clutch not engaging: relay, fuse, pressure switch or the clutch coil
• Blower motor or resistor weak, so cold air is made but not delivered
• Expansion valve or a blocked drier
• Compressor worn: noisy, or engages and gives nothing
